Creativity and imagination are elements I strive to express in my art works Whether it’s the beauty of the weeds along the gravel roads or the wonder in the skies above, I express my view of the world .
As a child, I drew and scribbled on everything. My parents re-directed my artistic enthusiasm by giving me a “Learn to Draw” Kit. With their love and encouragement was the beginning of my life in Art.
After 4 years of Art classes in High School, I attended Tarkio College,Tarkio, Missouri. While there I worked for an Art Education Degree. I participated in juried shows as well as a one woman show at the Mule Barn Theater.
Several years later, I resumed my education at Wayne State College, Wayne, Nebraska. I workout for a double major of Art Education and Special Education for a Masters in Art Therapy. I was in several juried Student Shows, The Judas Goat Student publication , NEA’s National Convention in Boston, Massachusetts and a National Women in the Arts Show in New York, NY.
After raising my family and retirement, I resumed my first love…ART!
